MSJ Foundation, Who Are We

Mont St. Joseph Foundation is a registered, nonprofit charity, directed by a volunteer Board of Trustees composed of people from this community.  Currently, our Foundation has 12 members, and two staff members.

Mont St Joseph Home is an affiliate of Prince Albert Parkland Health Region that receives minimal capital funding to acquire and/or replace equipment and furnishings required to provide a safe and comfortable environment.  The reality is that Government funding must be supported by our community’s generosity if we are to meet the holistic needs of our residents. It is why the Mont St. Joseph Foundation exists – to ask people, businesses and groups to remember Mont St. Joseph Home when making charitable donations. Your contributions make such a difference in the people who live here today – or tomorrow.

In 2014/2015 the Foundation was able to contribute to the Home in the following ways:

$154,415 in Furnishing and Equipment upgrades

$46,048 to community Relations

$35,696 to  Spiritual Care

$31,268 Program Support

$17,177 Development and Training

$4,038 Workplace wellness initiatives

All support was made possible with the generous support of our local community members, organizations and business partners. Mont St. Joseph Home identifies equipment and furnishings that must be replaced or purchased for the care, safety, comfort and well being of our residents. This year’s focus will be on raising funds to upgrade furnishings in each of the six neighbourhoods living areas.
